Velours de Paris was born of a simple conviction: that the most beautiful night of your year deserves more than a dress from a shelf. Our dresses are couture-inspired — draped, pleated and finished for the woman who will wear them. No excess collections, no compromise. Signature silhouettes, each one unmistakably Parisian.

Work in the atelier begins after the order is placed — never before. Fabric is cut to your size, the drape is set by hand, pleats are pressed one by one, and every hem is finished for the floor it will sweep.
Because each dress is made for its owner, it cannot be returned to a shelf that never held it. This is couture logic: made for you means made only for you.

The Art of the Evening Dress

Le Drapé
Draping is the soul of the maison. Each silhouette begins on the stand — fabric folded, pinned and coaxed until it falls as though it could fall no other way.

La Matière
Fluid jerseys, weighted satins, fine lace. We choose fabrics for how they move at midnight — under chandeliers, on marble, in candlelight.

La Coupe
Every dress is cut on a couture block, never pulled from a shelf. Eight sizes, US 2–16 — write to us for sizing advice.
